Back in Calgary around 5 pm. It was a nice weekend and if it was not for that exam it would have been a great weekend indeed.

Examination day. We slept in, had a nice breakfast and finally went to Med School for the exam. We left Limin there around noon and picked her up after 6 pm. She was not too happy the way the exam went. Well, told her not too worry too much, it was an experience and there is always next year. In the evening we went to see Lucy and her family - she just had little baby girl.

Well, last night we came to Edmonton. As always it was so nice to see our friends. It was also nice to see that they and their kids are doing well.

I won’t do too much biking to work after all. Today I received a call from parking authority, they informed me that as of tomorrow I got new parking right by hospital (lol) hence no more biking to and from. I lasted all 3 days….hehehe

Today as promised earlier I biked to work from university parking lot where I normally park. It was cool morning but a nice one. By now it is a beautiful sunny fall day and I can’t wait to bike back.

Nothing to talk about, it rained all day. Matt spent whole day watching YouTube and exercising downstairs while I worked on my computer. Well, it was nice kind of work - recording music from my no.1 internet radio station KCRW in LA. and copying pictures taken in Gdansk by people who posted them on Flicker.

Weekend finally, this morning I talked to Marek in Gdansk. It was nice to hear his voice, they just came back from vacation in Czarna Gora (former Yugoslavia). This morning Tian bought his first cell phone, very fancy specimen of modern telecommunication. Matt signed up for tennis club few days ago so today he bought himself new tennis racquet. This afternoon Matt invited us out. We went to Japanese restaurant called Sakana Grill (check picks by clicking here)and had very nice time indeed. That was very nice of you Matt, thank you.

Well, my weight is still 98.8kg. Today I made up my mind, staring Monday I will bike to work from university parking lot where I park. Ed (my coworker) decided to do the same. I will go to Walmart and buy cheap bike tonight since I don’t want to bang up my bike (it is too nie for daily commuting). Limin is in the hospital with me today. She is doing her rat surgeries for Dr. Fewell, probably last time since Dr. fewell hired a new person and Limin is supposed to show her the ropes today. The lady is a Chinese doctor like Limin so she should be able to do surgeries without rats dying right, left and center.

Well, today is Thursday. For some time now I have been “working” on my weight. It has been mostly loosing battle but nevertheless I am not going to give up. I started in March from 107kg or so. Just before the trip to Poland I was at 98.5kg, after our trip (and tons of good polish food and booze) I was back at 103 or so. Since we came back I have been trying to shed it off. It is going slowely but surely. My weight today was 98.8kg.
