We had not very comfy night on the back of our car. I bought an inflatable mattress to make if comfortable and achieved just the opposite. It was like sleeping on water bed, very hard to move around. We just “sunk”into it. Anyway, around 6am I let all the air go and then it was OK although a b it stiff. Well, sometimes you can’t have your cake and eat it too…..hehehe.
After traditional breakfast we were off fishing again. This time the day was absolutely beautiful. There was no wind it was like sitting on a surface of a mirror, fishing though was nopt the best. We still managed to land two big ones but that was it. As a bonus I guess I got sunburnt
)
We left our fishing hole precisely at 3 pm and arrived home at 5 with 1 liter of gas to spare, wow we really made it back on fumes.
After unpacking, getting back into the grove I had long, nice cold shower to get the internal temperature into the manageable range. Also Imust haver drunk a gallon of water, definitely I got a bit of a heat stroke combined with significant dehydration. I hit the sack at 8 pm, I was exhausted after nice weekend……..hehehehe

Today I got up at 6 am in order to get everything ready for our fishing expedition – Crawling Valley here we come. Even though I got up so early we did not leave until after 10 am. We arrived at Crawling Valley around 11:30 full of anticipation. By noon we were on the water. This was my first time on this lake so it took a while to find “fishing hole”but once we found it we started pulling around 70 cm monsters. It was lots of fun. The weather was beautiful, fishing great and surrounding area is very nice since lake is full of small islands with all kinds of birds on them. Antek (Bolek’s – my Polish friend- son would love it since he is natural born ornithologist). We fished till 5:00 pm, kept 3 nice size fish – s it turned out pike and 2 pickerall (I can never tell those two apart). I filleted our catch and Limin cooked us very nice supper. Around 10 pm totally beaten we crashed on the back of our “faithful”RAV4.

Friday, finally !!!! Tomorrow we are going fishing
) Last night I called Xiao Mouse again, this time we talked about her favorite book – 10 000 Questions. Accordingly to her this book had great influence on her since she read it first time at the tender age of 10. It help her to make up her mind with regards what she would like to do in her future life – wow
)
After Limin’s sister and her husband invited us over for a meal. As it turned out we were celebrating Ken’s birthday. Mea culpa – I totally forgot about it hence we did not have any present for birthday boy ;-((. The food as always was fabulous and in copious amounts. As one might expect I ate too much.

Last night I talked to Xiao Mouse (Limin’s nice) who is preparing English exam. Xiao Mouse lives in China, is just about to graduate from university in Mudanjiang majoring in English language. I have been calling her every night last few nights in order for her to get into “swing of things” so to speak before her exam. Last night we were talking about movie “Titanic”.
May 27
Limin had Ethics course this morning in new Sheldon Chimur clinic. Unfortunately the clinic is located in downtown where I droped Limin on my way to PLC hospital (where I worked all day today) but I hate driving in downtown especially in the morning – the traffic is simply insane.
May 25
Still in Bellevue. After another breakfast at Chris’ we went fishing again. Again in Lee Lake. This time Ninja was very lucky, almost all the fish we caught were Ninja’s, well I help him ofcourse since he still does not know how to cast.
May 24
After nice breakfast at Chris’ restaurant we went to Beaver Mines Lakes to do some fishing. Although it was very beautiful there (as always) we did not get even a single nibble, must be still too early. After about 40 minutes went back to Lee Lake. Much more fun there. Limin caught her supper
)
May 22
Friday again, but this time e are going to Bellevue. I love our “mountain retreat”, it is so nice to come there after long busy week in Calgary. This time we took Ninja – son of Limin’s good friend Lee. Ninja is about 8 years old and totally hiperactive. He can achieve impossible – he can be in many palces all at the same time.

Wow, busy day. In the morning NEDC called (I was on call all day) so I had to go there. Well at least I got 2 hr of overtime
Finished just in time to go back, make myself presentable and off we went to an old church in Calgary downtown to witness our friends Annie and Cheng promising each other to love and cherish each other till the death do them apart – pretty intense
) It was beautiful ceremony. Annie looked stunning (Cheng you are one lucky guy !!! ), Cheng looked simply handsome. After snapping few pictures we went back home. Around 6 pm back to wedding business, this time reception in very Chinese restaurant. We sat at the table no. 10 with Mei (who came with us), Ultrasound Cheng, Lucy and her beau Tom, Jimmy and his beautiful girls – wife and daughter. Food was very good and planty enough of it. We had great time – thank you Annie and Cheng and good luck !!!!!!

It is Friday but since I am on call I am stuck in Calgary.
May 10
Beautiful, lazy Sunday. Very slow start with a nice breakfast. Around noon little trip to Lee Lake (again), lots of fishing fun (again). Life is beautiful in the Crowsnest P:ass.
May 9
Right after breakfast we packed up our fishing gear and off we went to Beaver Mines Lake. Wow, what a surprise waited for us there. There was still snow around the lake. It was hard to find a spot to fish from the shore due to the snow. We did not have proper footweare for the occasion…hehehe. Anyway, we did give it a go but…..after about one hour of total inactivity we gave up. Still it must have been too early, water must have been too cold and fish did not know that it is spring out there and it is time to start feeding. We drove to Lee Lake (check those pictures) instead and that little place was lots of fun (as always).
May 8
