Dec 31, 2007 - New Year’s Eve
This year Maurine and Xavier invited us to join’em in celebrating comin g of a New Year. Also Hiu, Li and Ninja joined us. Maurine outdid herself preparing nice Taiwanese / Korean food. Everyone was wide awaken for the coming of New Year, we each had glass od Asti, wished each other all the best and kept on talking….hehehe. We lasted till about 2 a.m.
So here you have it - “old” 2007 came to a closing and “new” one just started we will see what it is going to bring us.
Dec 25, 2007 _ Christmas
Santa arrived in our place this morning. Shortly after breakfast I got busy cooking. Had to prepare Xmas dinner for 17 people maybe even more. Beside all the usual dinner ingridients I had to cook 8 kg (16 lbs) turkey and 6 kg (12 lbs). Cooking took all time but we had fabulous Christmas dinner. After dinner we played little Xmas game. Everyone brought a gift (up to $ 15), then we drew numbers. After that I called out all numbers from 1 up and a person called had a choice of his or her gift. Next person could take another gift or take gift rom person 1 in which case person 1 cwould pick up another gift and so on and so forth. Game took long time but we all had lots of fun. My birthday. Shortly after noon Bolek dropped by since he is working today. Later we had lots of people (as always). It was all good fun, thank everyone for coming, for gifts etc. Check the pics.
Dec 01 till 03, 07We wen to Edmonton to see Ivone and Bogus. As always we had a nice visit. Saturday morning we got to decorate Christmas tree. Later in the evening Krajewskis had a Xmas party/BD party sort of a conjoint event. Few of their friends came and as always we had a blast. Later at night when everybody left Lucy, Ivone and I just sat and talked about upcoming Lucy’s wedding. Wow, that’s going to be a celebration, already lokin forward to that.
