I failed miserably in my efforts to bake sourdough bread. Even though I have been attending my sourdough as advised by my break baking guru (click here for the site but be aware that it is in Polish). Once I mixed my sourdough with rye flour and water my mixture did not riseat all. Well, tomorrow I will try to revive it by adding yeast and little warm water.

70th anniversary of commencement of WWII. Today I read open letter president Putin addressed to Polish Nation. I really liked what I read, I think what he had to say is very clever and very just. If you can read Polish click here to read in in Gazeta Wyborcza. His letter was met with mixed feelings in Poland but in my humble opinion Mr. Putin hit the nail right on the head.
On different note – Tian started his university education. Even thohgh it is only orientation week he had to show up today at 9:30 as astudent of University of Calgary. Good luck Tian.
