For those who don’t know this little thing about me I have to tell you that I have two Taiwanese daughters. One is named Belle and another Maurine. They both were ESL (English as a second language) students at different times and both lived with us while studying here in Calgary.
Well, this few lines are about Maurine’s very happy day. On January 27, 2007 she married a fellow whom she met while studying in Mount Royal Collage, his name is Xavier Henry. Apart from being very nice guy Xavier is French (that pretty much guarantees that someone has to be nice). By the way before immigrating to Canada I spent some time in France and I love France and French people (here is a nation who knows how to have fun in life).
Anyhow, being Maurine’s homestay father and a father figure (since her father is gone) I was the one who gave her away. It was lovely gathering which took place in their home.
