It has been almost a month since we visited our little place in the mountains. Luckily we could go again. As soon as we came I experienced a bit of a shock – snow, snow and more snow. Our mini vacation I had to start by heavy-duty shoveling, there was simply no way to get to the house – we were snowed in. After clearing the path we mostly stayed indoors…hehehe, well not to count little walk later that evening. Next day we went for breakfast to our “usual morning eatery – “Chris’ Place” in Coleman to be reminded that they are closed on Mondays. Well, after having sort of breakfest at Tim’s Horton we decided to go for a drive to Fernie B.C. and treat ourselves to a nice lunch. I knew that they got snowed in but I didn’t realize that they got SNOWED IN – check pics. We had great day walking around old Fernie and we did have great lunch. Unfortunately it was soooo slippery around the restaurant that I didn’t bother taking any pictures worring about not falling instead. Seeing all that snow makes one wanting to do some skiing but I promissed Dr. Hutchison to stay away from skiing this season so I’d better stay out. We got back to Bellevue around 2 p.m. and after gathering our staff off we were on our way back home to Calgary. It was a nice weekend.
