Our World

Hello world!

April 9, 2008 · Comments Off

Welcome friends and occasional visitors. This is our little space about us about what is going on with us etc. In this “cyberage”, sites like this one help to keep in touch with everyone, let everyone know what is going on. So visit often, feel free to explore, leave us comments and suggestions, we will respond to them asap. Let’s all have fun while staying informed ;-) )

For day to day info about “Our World” go to “WHAT’S NEW“. Got to EVENTS to read about present and past “EVENTS”. I am not talking about day to day small things, it is all almost the same – you know, get up, go to work,  go back home etc, the usual “marry-go-around”. When I say event I mean either something interesting happening on the weekend, a trip, a visit , something out of ordinary.

Under “Miscellaneous”  you can see “other stuff” like interesting links, others pictures, others stories etc. Things which we enjoyed reading about or looking at. We just want to share those with you, our friends, our readers.

Sorry my Polish readers, I am too lazy to do it all in Polish – prosze mi wybaczyc ze jest tylko po angielsku ale jestem za leniwy zeby powtorzyc to wszystko po Polsku.

cheers everybody me_small2.jpg

BLAST FROM THE PAST :

In August 2001 we did Crowsnest Mountain, read about it here.

************************************************************************

In December 2002 we went to Kananaskis Country without any particular goal but wanted to do some hike there. We ended up doing Mount Indefatigable, read about it by following this link.

************************************************************************

In June of 2002 we “did” Alpine Club of Canada Bow Hut. Imagine sitting on a sunny deck , sipping cold beer and watch majestic avalanches coming down from nearby rock wall few stories high – only in Canada, read about it by clicking here .

In August of 2001 whole bunch of us went and “conquered” Mount Temple which is the highest peak in the Bow Range – 3540 m ( 11614 feet) and for many climbers it is often the first peak over 11 000 feet. It was quite a hike, it took us 12 hours to complete and I was just “begged”. The views were spectacular, well – read the story and have a look at the pictures (click here).
